The Graves
Evan Graves, CPA, MBA
Evan is a graduate of Lock Haven University with dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Masters of Business Administration. He became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2025.
Evan has an extensive background in finance and accounting, having worked for the Pennsylvania State University and at a local business as an accountant, and most recently for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an auditor.
Evan is very active in the community, serving currently as the Deputy Chief and a Trustee for the Nittany Valley Volunteer Fire Company, and serving through the various ministries of the local church that he and his wife attend.
Growing up, Evan was active in Scouting, earning the rank of Eagle in 2017, and serving a 1-year term as the Lodge Chief of his local council's branch of the Order of the Arrow, regarded as Scouting's honor society.
Sky Graves, BSW
Sky is Evan's wife. She graduated from Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA and is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. She has experience in geriatric case management, as a program analyst, and currently works as a Success Assistant at a Christian software company.
Sky is also active in our church community. You can often find her drinking an iced coffee, chatting, and keeping Evan’s files organized.
Evan first formed the business in 2023 under the name, Nittany Business Solutions, with a vision of helping small business owners manage and grow their businesses while staying compliant with legal requirements such as tax filings and others. The business was later renamed to Graves CPA PLLC after Evan was successfully licensed as a CPA. While the name changed, the vision still remains the same today.
Business owners have enough on their plate managing the day-to-date and helping their customers, let alone trying to keep their finances organized, trying to make sense of the numbers, and making sure their taxes and other filing requirements are done on time. We believe everyone should have the ability to own their business regardless of their financial/accounting or business formation knowledge, and we are here to help fills those gaps in whatever areas you may need!
Sky and Evan also have a soft spot for nonprofit organizations and the aid that they bring to the communities they serve.
